• Managed and mentored a cross-regional team of 6 highly skilled individuals, comprised of 4 engineers, 1 designer, and 1 product manager, providing technical guidance, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that met and exceeded client expectations
• Conducted interviews and participated in hiring decisions, aiding in the company’s growth efforts from approximately 35 employees to 200+

Full Stack Developer

Developed and maintained several pieces of software using React, React Native, and Ruby on Rails. Primarily worked on three projects:

• FlyHomes.com
• Contributed to the development and maintenance of various software applications, including a React based real estate search website that relied on the MLS API, a corresponding mobile app built in React native, and an internal CRM
• Quickly earned trust as a dependable developer, recognized for delivering projects with accuracy and efficiency
• Leveraged previous experience in developing with Node.js to learn Ruby on Rails while on the job and contributed to the company’s Rails based API
• Participated in a full brand redesign of the marketing website and was sole developer on the most trafficked page
• Built pricing algorithms to launch a new product, which became the company’s central and most profitable product, assisting company valuation growth from approximately $20M to $800M+ today

Robotics teacher

Taught students the fundamentals of coding logic by programming Arduino based robots. Assembled and tested all robots and helped students troubleshoot when they experienced problems.

Education intern

Developed communication and research skills by delivering multiple weekly Bible studies. Planned and led trips ranging from 5-20 students. Worked with a team to ensure the safety and enjoyment of students while they were in the youth group setting.

Sales associate

Assisted customers in all aspects of selecting and purchasing outdoors gear. Helped with everything from deciding which jacket color looks best on a person to which climbing gear will be best suited to an intense, multi-day climbing trip.
